What is this blog all about? Midlife crisis? Not really. Although the blog name suggests otherwise, the reason for this blog is not really age-related. I'm just overweight and unfit, and something has to be done before it affects my health. Luckily, up until now I have been quite healthy.

The target is simply to be in better shape by my fortieth birthday in August 2009. More on the targets later.

I hope that this blog helps me with the motivation. If people I know read the blog I might not feel so inclined to quit. I also know that keeping records of my exercises is one way to keep the motivation up.
